The Ponderosa Jr. Bruins Youth Football and Cheer organization is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit corporation based in Shingle Springs, California, and a proud member of the Sacramento Youth Football League. Our mission is to serve as a feeder program for the Ponderosa High School Football and Cheer programs by developing and preparing youth participants in alignment with Ponderosa High School philosophies and in partnership with the high school. We strive to teach fundamental football and cheerleading skills while instilling the values of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, loyalty, and respect for oneself and others. Additionally, we are committed to providing youth in our community the opportunity to participate in a competitive football and cheerleading league.
