The Ponderosa Jr. Bruins Youth Football and Cheer organization is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit corporation, based in Shingle Springs, California.  We are a member of the Sacramento Youth Football league. Our mission is:

1. To be a feeder program to the Ponderosa High School Football and Cheer programs by developing and preparing youth participants in accordance with the Ponderosa High School Football and Cheer philosophies and in partnership with Ponderosa High School;
2. To teach youth participants football and cheerleading skills while instilling the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, loyalty, and respect for one's self and others; and
3. To provide youth participants in our community the opportunity to participate in a competitive football and cheerleading league.

The Ponderosa Jr. Bruins Youth Football and Cheer organization is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors.  If you are interested in joining our Board of Directors or volunteering your time in other ways, please contact our Secretary (secretary@jrbruins.org).
